Fossil Fuel Use and Alternative Energy


Panelists talked about ways to move away from dependence on fossil fuels to more energy-efficient sources such as wind and solar power.?They addressed energy security issues, green house gases, and new technologies.?They also talked about the economic potential and that other nations, especially China, have been moving toward being more energy efficiency.?They discussed President Obama's new proposal for more offshore drilling, agreeing that any new energy policy would need to be born out of compromise between Democrats and Republicans.?Following their remarks, they responded to audience members' questions.
