The Future of Entertainment


Have we streamed our way out of the movie theater for good? That is but one of the existential questions Hollywood is grappling with as a result of a pandemic that is accelerating the transformation of the entertainment industry. Other questions swirl around Big Tech’s incursion into Hollywood; the urgent need for our storytelling industries to be more representative of the country's full diversity and respond to cries for racial and social justice; the globalization of audiences; and the shifting power dynamics between studios, talent, and their representatives.
