The Global Leadership Symposium: Embracing Disruption

The Global Leadership Symposium: Embracing Disruption was the first convocation of the McCain Institute’s first 44 global Next Generation Leaders (NGLs) around their diverse leadership action topics.  The Symposium drew attention to leadership challenges and solutions and engaged NGLs, guest speakers, program partners and the McCain Institute team.  We hosted a spirited discussion of pressing questions that face today’s character-driven leaders in business, civil society, women’s empowerment, good governance, youth development and politics.

The Next Generation Leaders Program is the McCain Institute’s flagship activity, designed to identify, train, network and empower a diverse group of emerging, character-driven leaders through one year of targeted professional and personal development. With a core focus on values, ethics and leadership, the goal of the program is to create a capable and lasting global network of character-driven leaders who shape the world we will inhabit in the future.
