Writings of Henry Adams Part 1


This program examined the life of Henry Adams and compiled several tours and speeches that have relevance to Adams' life. Ms. Cobble walked through the Adams National Historical Park and told stories about the home and grounds. Ms. O'Toole talked about her Adams biography, The Five of Hearts. Mr. Morris, who wrote an introduction to the latest edition of The Education of Henry Adams, talked about the personality of Adams. Mr. Drummey described Adams lifestyle and showcased original editions of Adams' books. Mr. Simpson commented on his book The Political Education of Henry Adams.
