Detection and Treatment of Concussions in Student Athletes


Witnesses testified on concussions suffered by student athletes. Among the topics addressed were returning to play too soon after injury, diagnosis of concussions, protective equipment, and the need for more awareness of the seriousness of concussions. Student athletes also talked about their personal experiences following their concussions.
