Obama Administration and the Press

Panelists talked about a report by the Committee to Project Journalists which investigates press freedom conditions during the Obama administration. The report argues that the Obama administration has a low-level of openness and that government officials are increasingly more afraid to talk to the press. Speakers included Leonard Downie, co-author of the report, an Arizona State University journalism professor and former Washington Post executive editor.
