The Role of Science

Daniel Sarewitz, co-director of the Consortium for Science, Policy & Outcomes and professor of science and society, School for the Future of Innovation in Society, Arizona State University, talked about his New Atlantis article, “Saving Science,” in which he argues science should focus on real-world problems, rather than on the goal of increasing knowledge.
